WE ARE PROUD OF OUR BOX
There are a lot of terms used only in CrossFit. A Box is any CrossFit affiliate or gym. So named because they’re traditionally found within industrial spaces. Upper Valley CrossFit is a 5,000 square foot facility featuring a variety of state-of-the-art equipment. We have professional certified coaches to help make every workout fun and safe. Because we’re part of the River Valley Club, most of our coaches are also certified trainers and specialists with years of versatile experience.
Experienced athletes are welcome at our regular group times. Please take note that these classes are often faster-paced and recommended for participants that have confidence in the language, technique and fitness required for CrossFit.
We offer CrossFit Elements, a beginner program for new athletes that have limited-to-no experience. This beginner one-on-one training works through specific movements with a focus on technical skill, rather than prescribed weight.
We also have a CrossFit teen program specifically built for young athletes. This program is perfect for athletes that want to maintain and improve their fitness during the off-season. Focusing on mobility, general conditioning, flexibility, agility, speed and strength, CrossFit Teens is offered Monday-Thursday from 3:30pm-4:30pm.
CrossFit Kids is for kids from 6-12 years old. The class structure is all about making fitness fun, while also laying down a foundation of fitness for which the kids can grow from.

WHAT WOD MEANS FOR YOU
A WOD is the workout of the day. As following with the CrossFit mission, these workouts are constantly varied and change everyday. The set up, however, follows a similar pattern:
- Warm up – for time or calorie count, mobility and strength
- Skills – briefly covering technique and skill for the day’s class
- WOD – the workout for the day, about 10-20 minutes with balance of intensity and reps
- Cool down and stretching is on your own time after class
Don’t be intimidated. We offer 20+ classes weekly, a beginner program for newbies, regular classes for experienced athletes, and a teen training program. For pricing, schedule, and enrollment details, click here.
